Oh, this is the cutest video I have ever seen! To those worried about the scared hedgie, of course he’s frightened, but they are very wise to socialize these animals. Socializing your pets is very important, and can save their lives in the long run. I get nervous and kinda prickly when I meet new people too! hehe

It’s a small marsupial from Australia. Search youtube for “sugar glider” and you’ll find a bunch of videos of them. Or better yet, ‘ll post one.

No, they’re not mean. They are very timid, however. Their quills are pointy, but not too sharp to pick up.
Technically, a hedgehog is also a predator. Being omnivorous, they do in fact hunt and eat other animals. Mostly insects.
