@poppie1969 Thanks so much, Jo.
Gromit was fortunate enough to have you; and you were blessed to have this little gift from God in your household! Thank you for the great video (although I cried a freakin’ river!)
What a beautiful little angel…..how lucky you were to have such a wonderful pup in your lives.
Such a lovely video.
Losing a dog is hard- but as a doxie lover- losing a dachshund is harder.
We lost one of our dachshunds – who was the love of my life- 9th of december 2009 due to a sudden change in his behaviour- lost all feeling in his back legs and was unable to wee and poo- we found out that he had a ruptured disc- and had a 10% chance of walking again- we had to agree on the decision to get him put down. Heart breaking and i miss him every day </3
this made me cry too.. i miss my dachshund..
he died just last month..
He is beautiful and so sweet, you must have been so proud of him.
This made me cry, too! Such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful Gromit. I can see how much she was loved and how much she loved back. Thank you for sharing this video with us.
My heart goes out to all who’ve lost a loved pet. I had to have my last one put down May 3, 2010. Also a dachshund, Dixie was the love of my life. Her sister, Daisy left this world in 2005 at age 14 1/2. Dixie was 15 and a month. I think it is as hard to lose a loved pet as it is a family member. They were my family. Your pictures are adorable. Thank you for sharing.

I ‘ so sorry for your loss. She is so beautiful and it is so obvious how much you loved each other. I’ sure she is always somewhere near you as guardian Angels do.
Solo hay un lugar de descanso para estas adorables criaturas…con Dios en el cielo…
