Extremely cute puppy & dog show – pomeranian, dachshund, shepherd & chihuahua surprise

imcom.korea.army.mil YONGSAN GARRISON, Republic of Korea – Chihuahuas, maltese, cocker spaniels, keeshonds as well as other kinds you may not be so familiar with lined up on stage in the 2008 Yongsan Dog Show. “We had the first dog show last year,” said Mario Farrula, Community Activites Centers director. “This year the weather is chilly, but turn out has been really good. Events like this help to bring families together.” Chloe Bequillard, 11-years-old, and her 13-week old keeshond “Sonya” competed in the Look alike category. Both were dressed in Pocahontas costumes. “When I figured out there was a contest, I thought Sonya and I would have a good time dressing up,” she said. Sonya won first place for both the Look alike’ and People’s choice categories, which were decided by popular vote. Of course, not all contestants were able to win but for most, the contest was a chance to get out and have fun with their pets. “This is our first time to participate in the event and it was a lot of fun,” said Joe Lallamant. “My daughter really wanted to come to show her dog and get a chance to dress up.” His daughter, Aleana, wore a Korean traditional “hanbok” dress on stage along with her pet. “I was really excited to participate,” said Amanda Patrick. “But Harley would not do the tricks.” At the end of the dog show USAG-Yongsan Commander Col. Dave Hall presented awards. Four commissary gift certificates were raffled out to the audience. T-shirts and backpacks were also raffled
