My Favorite Parts

The sections are fun and waste no time in getting to the point. They are clearly narrated with well-illustrated slides that make it easy to understand the dos and don’ts of dog training. The multimedia format definitely has its advantages as dog owners can see the correct positions for themselves and their dogs, plus they can hear the voice tones to be used. This part of the online dog training course is better than an ebook.

Although this course is not as comprehensive as some of the dog obedience e-books in areas such as dog behavior and specific dog breed information, it is jam-packed with knowledgeable and well-presented dog obedience and house training instructions for dog owners.

Dove presents a very interesting and common-sense perspective on paper training. She believes that this is not a good practice as it is confusing for dogs. She explains in a very knowledgeable and easily understood way how puppies can be trained to always eliminate outside.

My Conclusions

My first reaction was one of surprise that only seven lessons were included in this top notch program; once I actually listened to the lessons and realized just how much information was offered in the course, I quickly changed my opinion. I found this multimedia online dog training program most enjoyable; so much so that I would have liked it to have been longer. The straight forward lessons allow you replacate the techniques and successfully train your dog like a pro.

The only downside with this course is that it’s only accessible online so you need an internet connection to be able to view it.  It is for this reason that I have given it a 4 ½  star rating. If it was also available as an e-book, I would definitely give it the highest possible rating.

I’m of the opinion that this course would be highly effective for most dog owners but it is particularly suited to audio-visual learners who find e-books tiresome.  So you know what to expect , you are invited to view a sample lesson before you buy the course.
