The sectional frames can be placed over a shrub (such as boxwood) that is rooted in the ground and allowed to grow up into the form. You then simply trim the plant to the shape of the form as it grows. Alternatively, you can fill the bottom of the frame with sphagnum moss and plant a climbing vine into the moss. Train the plant to grow into the upper portion of the frame and you’ll have a low maintenance, portable planted topiary form.
