These fabulous Dog Knockers are handcrafted using the age old art of bronze foundry casting. During this process molten bronze is heated to over 2200 degrees and then carefully poured into a handmade sand mold. This mold is used just once then broken open giving each Dog Knocker its own individual character. Finally each piece is treated with a rich patina then hand polished to bring out the realistic detail before being coated with a clear protective lacquer. Mounting screws are included.
